The best way to end all wars will be a democratic UN, with more power, commissions preceding each conflict and international courts with more power than those that already exist. We can all volunteer to give more power to the UN, to international courts, to avoid a nuclear war and an arms race like there was after the Second World War. At the UN before António Guterres, not even the greatest philanthropist in the history of humanity, Bill Gates, could be a volunteer. With António Guterres, UN volunteering is better, but it still has many limitations and bureaucracy. Depois da Segunda Guerra Mundial, (1), o mundo nunca esteve tanto à beira de uma guerra nuclear que pode destruir 5 vezes o planeta, e ter consequências devastadoras para todo o mundo, (2). O melhor meio de acabar com todas as guerras será uma ONU democrática com mais poder, comissões a preceder cada conflito e tribunais internacionais com mais poder dos existentes. Todos podemos ser voluntários para dar mais poder à ONU, aos tribunais internacionais, evitar uma guerra nuclear e uma corrida aos armamentos como não existia depois da Segunda Guerra Mundial. Na ONU antes de António Guterres nem o maior filantropo da história da humanidade, Bill Gates, podia ser voluntário. Com António Guterres o voluntariado da ONU está melhor, mas continua com muitas limitações. Proponho novas formas de voluntariado “néo-voluntariado”, em que não precisa de ser rico, até o mais pobre pode ser voluntário, não precisa de ter diplomas, até um analfabeto pode ser voluntário, em qualquer país mais pobre...
