Trump-Putin peace for Ukraine or Zelensky-Antonio Guterres and the UN?

(Excerpt from the Portuguese version: https://pef1mm.blogspot.com/2025/03/paz-de-trump-putin-para-ucrania-ou.html). “The ‘Road to Peace’ resolution was adopted by a majority…” at the UN: https://news.un.org/en/story/2025/02/1845391. But what are the results of majority approval? Does the majority count for little at the UN? Wouldn't a global UN democracy with more online moral, political, judicial, police, economic and military powers be essential for the peace of Ukraine and the world? I imagine that a future global democracy of the UN will be possible, with thousands of specific courts for each conflict, with more power for the International Criminal Court (ICC), with daily decisions based on the most basic common sense of justice: whoever causes immoral and unjust harm must compensate the victims and society. Many national laws cause evident Machiavellian international crimes against humanity, for the most basic common sense of justice of the best democracies. Let us imagine a specific tribunal for the invasion of Ukraine, with lawyers from both sides, judges anonymous to the public, voted for among those proposed by each of the United Nations, or even among some with recognized good sense of justice and international impartiality. Perhaps in the future they could even be elected by a specific UN AI, anonymous to the public, known only to UN elites. This court, operating online, could be more efficient and powerful than the ICC, without being able to be destroyed by Russian missiles, operating with the most basic common sense of justice, being worth more than all world laws: whoever causes immoral and unjust damage to the most basic common sense of justice must compensate the victims. Let us imagine that this court had global power against Russia and North Korea, ordering them to respect the United Nations Charter, restore their borders and pay for the damages caused by the invasion. If I didn't do it, the entire civil and democratic world would be against it. Let us imagine that the UN, with dozens, hundreds or thousands of courts, had the power to impose global sanctions if the decisions of one were not respected. Anyone who did not respect their decisions would be punished with the suppression of humanitarian aid from the UN, the seizure of all their assets abroad, etc. Angola, Mozambique and all African countries that supply 40% of Russian weapons would be banned from all imports. Anyone who violated the decisions of a UN court would face reprisals from the UN courts, the courts, police and politicians of all nations and the international community. Let us imagine that every day, António Guterres or a spokesperson for these UN courts released a statement with the judgment of each crime from the previous day and the fine applied to those responsible for the damage caused. Let us imagine that every day these statements, or a selection, or a summary, were published in all spoken languages, with the possibility for everyone to comment and collaborate in punishing criminals against humanity. Wouldn't it be a great contribution to a global online democracy for peace in Ukraine and the world? I imagine an army of blue helmets with volunteers from all over the world that would guard the current borders and an immediate ceasefire until lasting peace negotiations in the future of Ukraine and the world. If the UN had the power today to create a global coalition against invaders, as it did when imperialist communist, Stalinist and Maoist dictators supported the North Korean dictator against South Korea, would that be the best way to establish the most just peace and avoid future wars? I imagine that the resolution drafted by Ukraine or the UN that demands the immediate withdrawal of Russian forces and calls for respect for the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity would be the fairest, but impossible. But even the worst peace deal, even a Trump-Putin peace to divide Ukraine's economic future between them, like the treaty between Hitler and Stalin to divide Poland between them, will be better than continuing the war? If Zelensky negotiates with a UN peace commission that a portion of Ukraine's precious minerals be divided proportionally among those who have contributed or will contribute to its defense, could this be a means of preventing Putin from occupying all of Ukraine? Putin sets as a condition of peace no foreign armed forces in Ukraine. So that you can later invade and take it more easily?
